Headed out towards Colorado. Stopped at the Heron Lake SP in northern NM. Nice quiet park built beside a lake that gets it’s water piped from Colorado under the continental divide. Then the water flows out to eventually get to the Rio Grande instead of the Colorado River. Interesting engineering.

And, again a series of great photographs. I am seriously going to look into one of those "teardrop" campers and head out with you guys next time around. I love the "blue highways" too and you get to see some great things. Loved the cave pics and I know the observatory was great. Thanks.
