Continued up the coast, the highway turns inland for a while. Stopped at the Humboldt Redwoods SP, home of the largest old growth Redwood forest in the world. Hiked along the Eel river trail. It is impossible to properly describe how big the trees are. Cannot take a picture that does the job. You walk through groves of trees, all as big around as cars and 30 stories tall and a thousand years old.
